Once again, it seems like it's been a LONG time since we've updated this blog. January is just flying, but that's the way we like it. The sooner spring comes, the better. Ah.... just a couple more months! Yay!
Okay, so Maddie had her 4 month checkup at the doctor about a week ago and she did SO well with her shots. She only cried for a couple minutes. What a trooper! She weighed in at 15lbs 4oz, and has grown to 25 1/4 inches tall. She's right at the 50th percentile for her height to weight ratio, so she's growing perfectly. Her ear infection is all cleared up, and the doctor said that she saw absolutely nothing to be concerned about. On her developmental exam Maddie scored 55 out of 60, with the average score being 35. Yay Maddie! So yeah, she's doing great! Right now we're just hoping those blue eyes stay, because they are just gorgeous. Don't you think?
Here's a few pictures taken over the past week. I finally found time to cut Andrew's hair so he's looking all that much more handsome. Did I mention a while ago that he lost a second tooth? Well, now his top two are loose and I get a kick out of seeing him eat everything using his side teeth. That kid is STILL deathly afraid of the tooth fairy and refuses to put his tooth under his pillow. I wonder if that will change when he has three to put under there?
For now we're all doing well. Working hard, good health, and pretty stinkin' happy. Travis interviewed for a new job (same company) on the 20th so we're waiting to hear back on that (sometime before the end of the day this coming Friday). Maddie is starting to grab at everything and the doctor 'taught' her how to roll over (front to back) which she LOVED and continues to do more quickly each time we put her on her tummy, so it's time to child-proof the house. Oh boy! :o)
