Santa and Smiles

Last night was our ward Christmas party and one of Santa's elves (that's what Andrew calls him) was able to visit. What's at the top of Andrew's list this year? A Jango Fett action figure and a Bumblebee Transformer. Maddie wasn't up to getting a picture alone with Santa, so we got one of the three of them together. It sure was a great party - Trav had some buffalo roast while I had some salmon. Yum!!!! When the kids sang "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" Andrew covered his ears. I'm not sure why, but this year he's REALLY not liking that song. And when we all sang "The Twelve Days of Christmas" each table in the gym was assigned a different day - so Trav, myself, and one other person got to sing "twelve drummers drumming" at the top of our lungs (we were in the very back of the gym). What a fun night!!

This morning both children were feeling pretty happy so I got pictures of both of them smiling!! It's hard to believe that Maddie is already 12 weeks old and will hit the three month mark next week. Earlier this week we thought she had pink eye so we took her to the doctor, but it turns out she just had a really, really bad cold. She's feeling much better now, but one good thing came of this... we got to find out that she's weighing 13lbs 11oz now. Still growing strong! Andrew is also loving school and has made several good friends. His first 'grownup' tooth has come in most of the way and he keeps showing it to everyone. He's so proud!
