After having counted down the days for over the past two months, Andrew's 6th birthday finally came and he was excited!! On his birthday he opened presents from family at home and then we ate dinner at Burger King followed by Blizzards at DQ, per Andrew's request. And yes, there were lots of Star Wars presents!! Then on Saturday afternoon he had a party with his friends from school and from church, and the kids all had a blast. We played water games and musical chairs, and it was so fun to have so many of his friends around!
Andrew has grown SO much this year. He lost all four of his front teeth, he's well over 4 feet tall now (wearing size 8 clothes), he loves to read and make long lists, and loves playing video games and wrestling with his daddy. His love for anything Star Wars has possibly gotten a little out of hand, but it only lasts so long, right?
We're SO pleased with Andrew and how much he's grown up this year, and we're excited for the year to come. First grade, more growth, and a whole lot more fun!! We love you Andrew!!!!!

Jonny's eyes about popped out of his head when he saw andrew's big lego star wars present. he said, "why don't i ever get presents that big?" I don't think boys ever grow out of star wars or legos.
